Business Development Representative - Restoration

Responsibilities:

  • Proactive actions to drive increased performance toward the achievement of commercial flooring sales objectives within the Restoration Space
  • Developing relationships with Restoration Companies and Contractors in the Restoration space to drive flooring sales.
  • Conducting research through online channels, Restoration and Construction groups, and networking to identify new clients.
  • Working with potential partners to coordinate flooring installations.
  • Maximizing existing Empire relationships locally.
  • Utilizing Salesforce and other systems to track customer information and sales activity.
  • Providing regular reporting to local, regional, and national sales management.
  • Escalate issues to management when necessary.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

 

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of relevant sales experience, commercial sales is a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively across various levels of management
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Flexibility in a rapidly changing work environment
  • Ability to work independently, be a self-starter and work in a team environment
  • HS Diploma or GED required, Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing a plus
  • Ability to work in a team fostered environment.
  • Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work.
