Our National Strategy Alignment and Architecture Practice helps clients achieve their next through the translation of strategy into the intentional design and architecture of the operating model to drive desired business outcomes. SAA professionals on our team are fluent in strategy, organization design, business architecture, process excellence, re-engineering, change leadership, business transformation and related disciplines.  

 

We’re looking for a National Strategy Alignment and Architecture Capability Lead to join our growing team. The SAA Capability Lead will be responsible for the full lifecycle of building, educating, marketing, selling and delivering our consulting services within a specific capability, including partnering with our clients as we support them in standing up new operating models and ways of working.  You will be on point for designing scaled solutions that span across strategy, structure, process, technology, data, metrics and culture. You will take a leadership role in helping Centric consistently grow its brand recognition, revenue and expertise in the capability while supporting our team of consultants in the implementation and execution of those services. 

  

In this role, you will:

Create the capability growth strategy and plan:

  • Focus on the Centric StratATecture offering (our integrated business architecture and organization design approach) and/or the Enterprise Discovery, Alignment and Roadmapping (EDAR) offering

  • Build the methodology, tools and templates for the assigned capability

  • Leverage best practices, lessons learned and emerging industry trends to continuously develop and improve our approaches, leveraging industry-aligned benchmarking and best practices with internal expertise

  • Oversee or manage relationships with software providers who we use to deliver our services

  • Sponsor and promote the knowledge management and retention practices to collect examples and engagement artifacts demonstrating our expertise

  • Identify, develop and mentor consultants across our National teams and Business Units who are providing SAA services  

  • Host and facilitate internal skill building opportunities (SAA Community of Practice, SAA training course, etc.) 

 

Serve as a SME on Key Client Engagements:

  • Develop a detailed understanding of the client's business, situation and desired outcomes

  • Serve as a SME on project teams providing the right tools, approaches and contexts to enable the team and client to be successful 

 

Provide Sales Support:

  • Educate internal Centric account managers, business unit leads and partners on our key client case studies, stories, and our methodologies

  • Participate in discovery conversations, listening closely to their situations, and providing relevant stories or insights from career experiences

  • Support proposal development where needed

  • Update and maintain SAA sales collateral 

 

Work with the National SAA Service Offering Leads to:

  • Build a pipeline of W2T, FTR and 1099 trusted consultants 

  • Develop case studies, blogs, articles and participate in speaking events 

  • Function as a feedback manager for select employees on the National Strategy Alignment and Architecture team 

 

A Successful candidate will have the following characteristics:

  

  • Subject matter expert with deep expertise in two or more of the following areas: strategy, organization design, business architecture, process excellence, digital or business transformation, change leadership or related disciplines 

  • Effectively support the sales and business development process once brought into a deal as a SME 

  • Prior experience across transformational programs and change projects, project delivery, project team leadership, and business development 

  • Platform and facilitation skills to guide learning and community of practice events 

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to build and maintain integrated methodologies, tools and templates 

  • Highly collaborative by nature and works effectively with clients, business development, and the Centric Team 

  • Working to be recognized outside the company for their expertise

  • Consulting experience is required. That said, you will also be considered if you have a strong industry background.
