JOB SUMMARY:
This position, reporting to the Deputy Country Director-Programs, is a central position for CARE South Sudan's efforts to strengthen the quality of its programming; and ability to innovate, learn and adjust to continually changing realities in the country.
The position will cover the whole program and project; designing and evaluating program frameworks, developing projects on the basis of the program frameworks; ensuring the systems are in place to monitoring and evaluate impact.
The position leads a team of staff that drives improvements in MEAL, proposal development and reporting. The incumbent will focus on ensuring that CARE programs and projects address the underlying causes of poverty and vulnerability in line with CARE's and industry standards and best practices. The incumbent will ensure that data and information are harvested, analyzed, and turned into knowledge and guidance that helps the Counterpart global team improve design and practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Development and new Program Design
Development and Implementation of the country office learning and impact measurement systems
Program planning, monitoring, evaluation and quality assurance
Knowledge Management, Learning and Communication
Capacity development for CARE and partner staff
Ensuring Accountability and Gender Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Safeguarding Practices
