FOOD & BEVERAGE SUPERVISOR (Part-Time)

SUMMARY: Responsible for supervision of daily restaurant, banquets and bar operations and staff to ensure excellent guest service and satisfaction. Execute plans towards achieving Food & Beverage goals as outlined by the Director of Hospitality.

EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS - Other duties may be assigned:

• Work with the Director of Hospitality on employee coaching, counseling and discipline.
• Track, log and impose proper discipline levels to all staff regarding performance and attendance standards.
• Manage food & beverage daily shift to include FOH restaurant, banquet, bar and casino beverage operations.
• Assist/manage banquet operations including set up/service/tear down as needed. Communicate with the Director of Hospitality on purchasing requests.
• Assists with or prepares weekly orders for F&B FOH Food Orders, Bar/Beverage Products and F&B operating supplies.
• Assists with and manages Food (Costs-of-Goods-Sold), Beverage (COGS), Labor (Payroll) and other Controllable Expenses/Costs.
• Assists with, prepares weekly FOH staff work schedules including banquet scheduling needs.
• Assists with all F&B Hourly Staff duties as needed.
• Pitches in to ensure operational success when needed.
• Directs BOH staff in the absence of Back-Of-House supervisor / leadership.
• Practices responsible alcohol service to including properly ID’ing.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct supervision of all FOH Food & Beverage staff including Cashier/Hosts, Bussers, Food Servers, Bartenders, Barbacks, Banquet Staff and secondary supervision of kitchen staff.

All employees must be knowledgeable of all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent required. 

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS: Must be able to obtain and maintain an Iowa Gaming License.
