LEAD FACILITIES HOUSEKEEPING LEAD

SUMMARY : To assist in supervising the Public Area Housekeeping Team on a specific shift and maintain cleanliness in the facility.          

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for shift functions including personnel assignments.
  • Understanding and following proper procedure for radio usage.
  • Cleaning of facility including dusting, pick up, dumping ash trays, vacuuming, dumping garbage and cleaning windows.
  • Heavier cleaning to include extraction, cleaning high windows, tile floor care and ceramic floor care.
  • Independently cleaning assigned areas.
  • Observing and identifying spots, stains or spills and cleaning them in an efficient manner.
  • Communicating with Housekeeping Supervisor regarding employee issues or directives.
  • Assists Guests with any questions they may have or requests.
  • Maintain an open line of communication with Supervisors and Managers concerning all Housekeeping and Guest Service related issues.
  • Maintains a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with fellow Team Members, Guests and Vendors.
  • Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in housekeeping or environmental services in a similar casino/hotel environment preferred.

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS: Must be able to obtain and maintain and Iowa Gaming License.
