SUMMARY :           

The F&B Host/Cashier will greet guests, escort them to their table and provide menus. As the guest leaves, the Host/Cashier will take their payment and settle their check, ensuring Genuine Service is provided at all times.  


  1. Provide a positive impression of the F&B outlets by greeting guests in a warm, genuine manner.
  2. If guests have to wait to be seated, Host/Cashiers are expected to make them comfortable while they wait.
  3. Ensures all menus are wiped down and presentable prior to seating the guest.
  4. Locate a table that is the right size for the guests and seats them according to proper table rotation.
  5. Moves tables and adjusts seating for large parties.
  6. Sets tables with silverware, placemats and menus.
  7. Takes check and method of payment from guest and properly rings it under the appropriate payment type. Provides change as necessary.
  8. Maintains paperwork in a neat organized manner and turns in to the cage along with bank amount and revenue at the end of each shift.
  9. Maintains an open line of communication with Supervisors and Managers concerning any guest issues, problems and/or solutions.
  10. Maintains a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guests and fellow team members.
  11. Other related duties as assigned.


6 months of cashiering experience in a similar food and beverage outlet strongly preferred. 




To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including health, fire and safety regulations.


Alcohol Awareness Card and Clark County Health Card required.  


Must be able to effectively communicate in English.


Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 


Micros or similar POS software experience preferred.


Cash register, Microsoft Office products, dry erase board, telephone.
