SUMMARY :           

The IT Manager is responsible for all aspects of company systems equipment and related software, procurement and development of computer systems and software and establishing policies and procedures for the Information Technology Department. Responsible for the day to day operation and direct supervision of all activities within the department. Ensure daily operations and experiences meet guest expectations. Appropriately respond to and manage any escalated departmental concerns and guest and/or team member challenges.



  • Establish standards of service within assigned department(s) and ensure achievement
  • Maintain computer workstations, peripherals and associated equipment
  • Oversee the establishment and servicing of inventory and documentation of all computer equipment, peripherals, and supplies
  • Ensure proper computer and network security procedures are in place and enforced
  • Maintain network and system reliability in a 24/7 environment, and recommends corrections and deficiencies to upper management
  • Plan and execute system developments, upgrades, and maintenance schedules
  • Procure equipment, software, and supplies as needed following company purchasing guidelines
  • Maximize efficiency and productivity of all computer systems and data communication requirements
  • Ensure proper software and hardware licensing, ensures maintenance contract obligations are met, and assists in establishing vendor relationships and support as needed
  • Maintain system compliance with the Gaming Commission and develops departmental policies and procedures
  • Assist in training and supervision of computer users as needed
  • May be required to work days, nights weekends and holidays
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply to the position
  • Provide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company’s guest service culture standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned



  • Hire, train, develop, measure performance, discipline, terminate and schedule department staff
  • Lead the tactical execution of strategic initiatives under the direction of division leadership
  • Monitor and control labor within the department while maintaining adequate coverage in the department based on business demands

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.


  • At least one year previous I.T. management experience
  • Previous experience in the hotel/gaming industry highly preferred
  • Previous experience providing excellent communication and people skills dealing with end-users, co-workers and vendors
  • Previous experience leading, planning, developing, and implementing IT projects/programs
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology preferred
  • At least 21 years of age



  • Nevada gaming control board registration
  • Nevada Driver License


  • Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal


  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 


  • Experience with both infrastructure and applications
  • ATI, IGT, Halo, Opera and LMS application experience desired
  • Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft Applications, Infinium (AS 400), Kronos, gaming, hospitality and point of sale systems
  • Must have strong knowledge of emerging computer/technology products
