SUMMARY  :           

The Night Auditor will perform all functions of a Guest Service Representative during their shift, while performing night audit duties such as balancing all end-of-day shift reports and verifying cash, credit and comp transactions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Completes end-of-day activities including posting charges to accounts, running night audit backup, and roll the date.
  2. Processes all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit and credit. Processes adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers and miscellaneous charges.
  3. Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
  4. While acting as a Guest Service Representative, they are responsible for completing transactions such as: registering hotel guests and assigning rooms, guests and player account maintenance, signing up new members, coupon redemption, awarding comps, and describing benefits of membership to qualified members.
  5. Greet all guests and determine how to best assist them.
  6. Issue room keys to guests at check-in
  7. Promote A-Play promotions and casino events
  8. Blocks rooms for groups, VIPs, and casino departments.
  9. Respond to all guest inquiries. Provide guest satisfaction through assistance, direction and information.
  10. Resolve complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
  11. Assist with casino events and promotions, as required.
  12. Other related duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Acts as a Guest Service Supervisor in their absence; has the ability to train team members, plan and direct work and address complaints/solve guest problems.

QUALIFICATIONS 

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures, including fire and safety regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or GED required. Two years experience as a front desk or players’ club representative in a similarly sized property required. Night audit experience strongly preferred.

   CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Nevada Gaming Control Board registration required

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

COMPUTER SKILLS

Microsoft Office skills required. Knowledge of Opera and Patron systems strongly preferred.
