JOB SUMMARY:

The Offline Fundraising Specialist is responsible for supporting the day-to-day production and creative processes for the Acquisition, Acknowledgment and Partners For Change programs. The responsibilities of this role directly impact the generation of unrestricted revenue through the generation and retaining of CARE donors. This position ensures the annual strategic plan is implemented correctly and to schedule.  Key responsibilities include assisting the Offline Fundraising Manager with telemarketing and direct mail creative plans and budget maintenance for all campaigns. This role will create and maintain all program source codes for campaign performance tracking and communicate with other Direct Mail specialists/program managers and vendors to ensure campaign creative and production reflects the strategic objectives established. Daily responsibilities include coordinating, implementing, and monitoring both creative and production strategies such as resource gathering/routing, QCing creative data and providing general support for the CARE telemarketing and direct mail programs.  

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creative Development

  • Researches and provides recommendations for campaign creative resources 
  • Creates campaign source codes for offline and online channels
  • Reviews resource document for each campaign from creative agency
  • Reviews creative layout and copy for each campaign to ensure they reflect overall strategic objectives
  • Provides input on copy and creative deliverables and escalate when necessary 
  • Own internal and external creative routing
  • Compile and communicate internal and external creative feedback 
  • Articulates and or graphically illustrates changes to vendors
  • Responsible for making sure requested revisions are completed
  • Research and compile campaign resources from various CARE programs/departments 
  • Serve as a vendor resource contact for emergencies relief assistance campaigns
  • Review and approve laser set ups, counts, proofs and insertions including record review in donor database to assure campaign strategy is being implemented correctly
  • Tracks creative process to ensure all components have been approved and printed

Program Management

  • Serves as a project manager of the day-to-day process to ensure the quality, timeliness and accuracy of the campaigns
  • Serve as liaison among vendors
  • Liaison between Mass Market team and other CARE departments
  • Ensure all campaigns adhere to CARE brand guidelines
  • Maintain daily communication with vendors keeping them apprised of CARE programs and resources
  • Serves as an advisor to the CARE Supporter Service team by providing clarification on creative and segmentation strategies
  • Create and maintain process and procedure documents 
  • Provides the Business Operations department with campaign creative and source codes as requested
  • Review telemarketing scripts and create landing page  

Data Management

  • Work with various internal CARE departments to confirm data stats for creative messaging 
  • Assist in the review of all output and counts (including Acknowledgment and Merge/Purge)
  • Coordinate with the Offline Fundraising Manager to review and approve final data list counts and cost 
  • Ensure source codes are uploaded in Salesforces and maintained

Strategic Execution

  • Ensures strategic plan is implemented correctly and on schedule
  • Communicates strategic initiatives for each campaign to CARE departments when required
  • Coordinate across Mass Market channels to align campaign messaging and timing
  • Oversee routing and vendor completion of the teams One Program campaign planning resource document 
  • Communicate any required directions and feedback to vendors and Offline Fundraising Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, Social Science or related field
  • Experience working with vendors (at least 1 year)
