We are currently seeking a IT Governance Officer to join our IT Governance & Compliance Team. In this role, you will responsible in coordinates, analyzes, develops and reports on IT Governance activities within the Bank, including those related to IT policies and procedures, technology and tools, compliance, risks and controls, and best practices. Assists with development, oversight and management of IT Governance Program. Prepares and maintains reports for key IT activities to executive management and board members.
Work Schedule
Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm (Hours may vary)
Compensation
The annual salary range for this role is $86k to $117k/yr; commensurate with experience.
The successful candidate will be hired for the level of the position that aligns with their experience.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business management, Risk management, compliance, (management) information systems, accounting, related field, or equivalent work or banking experience required
5 years’ experience of experience in IT-related work preferred
2 years banking industry experience preferred
3 years of progressively responsible experience in IT, risk, compliance, audit or compliance field required
Proven ability to stay up to date with evolving IT governance frameworks, industry standards, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to enhance organizational policies and processes required
Good working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, data base tools and utilities required
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communications skills essential to communicate with all levels of personnel including external vendors and regulatory agencies
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
Must have analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
Able to handle confidential matters judiciously
Possesses attention to detail with excellent follow-through
Able to work under pressure with multiple deadlines
Able to work independently with minimal supervision. Good time management skills
Must be able to maintain good working relationship with Business Units oversight partners, audit entities and regulatory agencies
