Client Operations Manager

Job Summary:

The Client Operations Manager will be directly responsible for a portfolio of Minnetronix’ production business relationships with medical technology customer accounts The Production Client Operations Manager will also be involved in the transfer of products into Minnetronix’ manufacturing control from engineering development projects and/or external manufacturing companies. The Production Client Operations Manager will collaborate with peers and other leaders within the Production business to developing standard work for Minnetronix’ processes for Account Management in support of our vision “To be the best integrated medical technology and operations provider in the world.”.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: 

•    Be the primary client contact on assigned product(s) and manage the balance of inquiry/advocacy in the relationship between the client and Minnetronix. 
•    Assure clear/effective lines of communication (and escalation) are established (listening and signaling) across the relationship and assure standard tracking methods are used by the matrix team to maintain organization of the account.    
•    Establish internal and external business performance metrics for the client account that assure commercial health for Minnetronix while yielding quality/branding success for the client.
•    Collaborate and engage with internal Minnetronix stakeholders (engineering, quality, manufacturing, sales) to develop and manage activities to transfer a product from design/development to manufacturing
•    Generate revenue by discussing, preparing, and executing new statements of work with the client
•    Manage client expectations for lead time and timely order placement
•    Daily interaction with Purchasing and Manufacturing to assure production plan supports commitments made to the client.
•    Monitor contract obligations from both parties, proactively manage issues of escalation, and initiate action accordingly when needed. 
•    Contribute to the overall improvement in Minnetronix systems and processes. 
•    Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

•    Bachelor’s Degree in a related field  
•    Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing services (outsourcing or insourcing) business for highly regulated electro-mechanical devices.
•    Experience in managing commercial relationships for manufacturing services accounts:
•    Experience negotiating and executing statements of work, memorandums of understanding, production services agreements, and various other contract structured agreements associated to manufacturing services.
•    Excellent verbal and written communications skills.  Must be able to convey business and technical concepts to a diverse customer base and to internal technical teams in a clear and concise manner.  
•    Demonstrated leadership behaviors including effective communication, critical thinking and decision making 
Preferred Qualifications:
•    Experience in a medical device sales or account management role.
•    Experience in the manufacturing, quality, and regulatory realities associated to class III life-sustaining medical devices.
•    Experience in full product lifecycle of product development, design/manufacturing transfer, pilot manufacturing, sustained manufacturing, phase-in/phase-out of upgrade products, etc.
•    Training and awareness of Lean and/or Six Sigma principles of manufacturing and business processes. Sense of urgency for reaching goals.
