Deputy Program Manager - Position Description

We are headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA.  We are seeking a Deputy Program Manager to support our Navy customer in Port Hueneme, CA.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading Navy Programs with Systems Engineers and experience with Navy Combat systems.

Security Clearance: 

• Applicants must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Position/Job Description:

General Tasking Description:

• Assist the Program Manager with the overall planning, direction and success of major programs, systems development efforts.
• Lead a sub-program / Task to support a larger program that consists of multiple contractors.
• Ensure technical milestones, schedules, budgets and costs are met by your assigned task.
• Work with company leadership to ensure overall contract success. 

Experience Requirements: 

• 5-10 years’ Program Management experience supporting US. Navy Combat and/or Weapons Systems. 

Educational & Certification Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or DAWIA III in Program Management is a plus.
