SAROV Maintenance Technician - Position Description

Semi-Autonomous Remotely Operated Vehicle (SAROV)  Maintenance Technician.

 In Country Naval Support

Security Clearance Required.

ICI Services is looking for an experienced Semi-Autonomous Remotely Operated Vehicle (SAROV) Maintenance Technician to support Kuwait Naval Forces (KNF) Foreign Military Sales (FMS) vessels at the Mohammed Al-Ahmad Kuwait Naval Base, Kuwait City, Kuwait. SAROV is a submersible ROV manufactured by SAAB.

Security Clearance:

• Applicant must be eligible to hold an active Department of Defense (DoD) SECRET personnel security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and repair SAAB Semi-Autonomous Remotely Operated Vehicle. (SAROV)
• Conduct routine equipment checks to ensure compliance with regulatory policies and NAVSEA maintenance standards.
• Collaborate with Kuwait Navy to support and assist with conducting missions.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a ROV Technician preferred experience with a SAAB SAROV.

• Knowledge of ROV safety protocols and equipment maintenance best practices.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
