Research Associate - Alzheimer’s Disease Study

Position Responsibilities

1. Assists with recruitment, scheduling, consenting, testing, and coordination of subjects into research studies and grants as assigned.

2. Obtains subject demographic and clinical documentation for different drug studies and grants.

3. Assists with all relevant tasks for clinical trials and academic studies as assigned. Maintains research data, study databases and related queries on clinical data

4.  Assists in obtaining, processing, packing and shipping of laboratory samples specimens for clinical trials, neuropathology studies and academic studies.

5.Administers/performs neuropsychological, behavioral and other tests for research studies and the Memory Screening Program, ensuring scoring and data entry are completed.

6. Assists with maintenance and filing of source documentation and computer-based data entry for grants and drug trials.

7.  Maintain adequate testing supplies/materials for drug trials and assigned studies.

8.  Maintain all study certifications for assigned tasks.

9.  Assists with research papers and grant projects as required.

10.  Assists with assembling consent forms and test materials for administration to subjects.

11.  Assists Wien Center Director, Principal Investigators and Research Manager as required.

12. Maintains research data, study databases and related queries on clinical data

13. Administers cognitive and neuropsychological testing on participants in English and Spanish for pharmaceutical and observational studies and assigned grants.

14. Scores cognitive and neuropsychological testing for pharmaceutical and observational studies and assigned grants.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years of experience in Research
  • Phlebotomy Certified desired
