Entry Level Hospital Epic Billing Representative

Hybrid work schedule - Base rate plus monthly bonus

Position Responsibilities:

  • Bills all claims to all assigned payers electronically or hardcopy on a daily basis.
  • Works corrections on all assigned payers, in Epic.
  • Ensure that DRG revisions are billed on a timely manner according to policy.
  • Reviews and works Fail Claims requirements on a daily basis.
  • Re-bills all Billing requests as requested.
  • Works on all HCPCS revisions for rebills daily.
  • Analysis and rebilling of late charges. Rebilling must be done for all late charges according to current policies.

Qualifications:

  • One year Hospital Billing experience  
  • Epic knowledge
  • High School graduate or equivalent level of training.
