First Hawaiian Bank invites passionate and driven college students to apply for our 2026 Summer Associate Program! As a Summer Associate, you’ll embark on an immersive journey within the world of banking and gain invaluable insight working on hands-on self-driven assignments and projects that creates a real business impact. Throughout the program you’ll network with bank leaders, participate in leadership and financial wellness workshops, team building activities, and take part in a community service project that reflects our commitment to giving back. This is your chance to kickstart your banking career in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Application deadline: December 31, 2025 

Compensation: The hourly salary for this role is $18.00/hr.

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Hours may vary)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Demonstrate and exhibit First Hawaiian Bank’s core values: Caring, Character and Collaboration
• Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree with an expected graduation date between May 2026 and June 2028. 
  • This internship is intended for students who completed advanced coursework in their major field of study. 
• Currently enrolled in a four-year or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university
• Pursuing a relevant degree program
• Must be available to work 40-hour work weeks between June-August and work on-site on Oahu
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0
• Eligible to work in the United States 

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong interest in exploring a career in Banking
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
• Demonstrated leadership in a school or community organization
• A willingness to cooperate collaboratively and work independently on your own initiative
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Demonstrates personal accountability and proven reliability
• Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communication
• High standard of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
