Job Location: Hybrid, Cleveland, OH, must be able to go onsite 3 days a week

In this role, you will: 

Key Responsibilities Solution Architecture & Delivery

  • Design and document descriptive and prescriptive solution architectures.
  • Lead technology selection decisions for product development initiatives.
  • Analyze and validate non-functional requirements (performance, scalability, security, reliability).
  • Architect software, infrastructure, and database solutions that effectively address business needs.
  • Support implementation teams through development, integration, testing, and production support.
  • Review and provide feedback on solution designs developed by other architects and engineers.
  • Solve highly complex technical challenges and provide consulting support across projects.

Enterprise Alignment & Governance

  • Align solution architectures with enterprise standards, system strategy, and technology roadmaps.
  • Contribute to department-wide and enterprise architectural patterns and standards.
  • Participate in system-level architecture groups and governance committees.
  • Assess current business and technical capabilities to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Maintain awareness of the organization’s architecture portfolio and industry standards (e.g., TOGAF).

Strategy & Innovation

  • Research and recommend emerging technologies and architecture principles that: Reduce cost, Improve security, Eliminate redundancy, Increase flexibility and scalability
  • Build and maintain relationships with key technology partners and vendors.
  • Contribute to long-term architectural direction and strategy.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to identify gaps, risks, and solution opportunities.
  • Present complex technical concepts in clear, consumable formats for senior leadership and non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams in a highly matrixed environment.

Leadership & Mentorship

  • Mentor junior Solution Architects and Software Developers.
  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer across teams.
  • Promote best practices in solution architecture and engineering discipline.

 

Who You Are: 

  • Required (one of the following): Associate’s degree + 9+ years of related experience, Bachelor’s degree + 7+ years of related experience, Master’s degree + 5+ years of related experience
  • Advanced understanding of: Application development concepts and methodologies, Solutions and enterprise architecture Architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF), Cloud-native development and architectural patterns
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS (required)
  • Azure experience preferred
  • Experience with Low-Code platforms such as: Microsoft Power Platform, Salesforce, UiPath
  • Ability to assess and resolve complex system and integration challenges
  • Certifications (Preferred): AWS Cloud Architecture/Development certifications, Azure certifications, Salesforce, .NET, or UiPath platform certifications
