Minimum Requirements:
MINIMUMS: Licensed as a Psychiatrist in the State of Virginia, possession of a Drug Enforcement Association (DEA) Certificate with no restrictions on prescribing controlled substances. Eligibility for Medicare, Medicaid, and other third party reimbursement. Must have a current and valid driver's license. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: All employees may be expected to work hours in excess of their normally scheduled hours in response to short-term department needs and/or City-wide emergencies. May be required to drive to off-site meetings. This is a safety sensitive position and is subject to mandatory drug testing. Positive drug test results may result in counseling and/or discipline, up to and including, termination.

Preferences:
Experience working/completing TD/clinical assessments with adults SMI/SUD population.
Experience providing counseling on medication use, health wellness, social problems, IMWP.
Experience providing consultation and training to nursing, clinical and administrative staff.
Experience maintaining clinical records in accordance with regulatory standards, including Department of Human Services, DMAS, and licensure.
Experience with State performance service provision targets.
Experience with filing clinical information and submission of billing information accurately and within required time frame.

VRS Contribution: All full-time employees are required to contribute 5% of annual salary toward their retirement account; in accordance with VRS retirement provisions. This will be handled through a pre-tax payroll deduction.
