Medical Education & Workforce Systems Specialist
The Medical Education and Workforce Systems Specialist is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Continuing Medical Education (CME) program, ensuring compliance with the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) Accreditation Standards, Medical Association of Georgia (MAG) Accreditation Standards, and TSPMG policies and procedures. This role is also responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of workforce software systems, such as learning management system (LMS), performance management, succession planning, and survey software. This role ensures that these systems are effectively implemented, integrated, and aligned with business objectives.
Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Continuing Medical Education (CME) Program Administration
Oversee the daily operations of the CME program, including planning, coordination, and execution of accredited education activities.
Ensure compliance with ACCME Accreditation Standards, MAG Accreditation Standards, and TSPMG policies and procedures.
Serve as the primary point of contact for CME-related inquiries and accreditation audits.
Maintain accurate records of CME activities, participant attendance, and accreditation documentation.
Support CME faculty and planners in developing high-quality educational content that meets accreditation and regulatory requirements.
Monitor changes in accreditation requirements and implement necessary policy or procedural updates.
Assist in the preparation and submission of accreditation reports and applications.
Workforce Software Administration
Serve as the lead administrator for select workforce software systems, such as Learning Management System, Performance Management and Succession Planning software.
Oversee system functionality, user access, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal utilization.
Provide training and support to end users, including leadership and employees, on system capabilities and best practices.
Collaborate with HR and leadership to ensure system functionality and processes align with organizational goals.
Generate reports and analytics to support leadership decision-making and workforce planning initiatives.
Implement system updates and enhancements as needed.
Minimum Education
Bachelor Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum Work Experience and Qualifications
Experience managing CME accreditation processes and compliance.
