Description

Solairus Aviation is looking for established charter sales professionals who possess the ability to leverage the Solairus client-centric, solution driven platform to enhance existing charter relationships and create new charter revenue opportunities.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

Develop and execute individual strategic short and long-term sales goals in coordination with company sales objectives to generate new clients, retain existing clients and increase overall retail and wholesale charter revenue.

Participate in and contribute feedback to company charter marketing initiatives to create charter sales opportunities and increase brand awareness and credibility.

Initiate and develop new relationships with charter prospects and enhance existing relationships with current charter clients to generate sales leads, sales opportunities, referrals, influencer relationships and further network contacts that will result charter sales revenue generation.

Leverage all prospect and charter client opportunities by performing face-to-face meetings and by attending industry and non-industry events.

Receive incoming requests for charter quotes and trips. Engage with prospects and clients for the accurate delivery of all requests in a timely manner. Follow-up on all charter quotations and document current quote status in company database.

Maintain accurate client preferences in company database to ensure a customized and consistent charter service delivery product and enhanced client experience.

Provide charter service delivery oversight for trip planning and scheduling, flight following, service delivery issue resolution, billing, ongoing client management and operator relations.

Provide internal support to the charter sales group and other company departments as required.

Maintain current knowledge of the private aviation marketplace, industry trends and company competition.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

Must be self-motivated, resourceful and results driven.

Must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with a professional and polite demeanor.

Must be able to excel in a team environment and communicate within the charter sales group effectively.

Ability to handle and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information.

Ability to travel and work non-traditional hours as needed.

Computer literate in Microsoft Office.

Experience utilizing Avianis aviation software preferred, but not required.

Must have experience working for Part 135, Charter Operator

EDUCATION/TRAINING:

Bachelor degree preferred

3-5 years of progressive charter sales experience preferred

Experience utilizing FOS aviation software preferred

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to lift 10 lbs.

Some travel required (25%) to develop prospect and client relationships and attend industry and non-industry events.
