General Description

This Charter Billing Specialist is responsible for processing charter invoices, expenses and payments and assisting the Charter Accounting Manager with various Charter Accounting tasks as assigned

Essential Duties

• Assemble billing data from various sources to accurately create charter client invoice
• Work with internal sales team to obtain approvals and manage outgoing wire requests
• Process and post incoming charter payments (ACH, wire and remote check deposits)
• Review and post all Accounts Payable charter flight expenses
• Research and respond to internal and external clients in a timely, professional manner
• Provide support to Charter Billing Manager as needed

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

• Associates Degree desired with course work in accounting preferred or equivalent experience working in a Billing/Accounts Receivable
• Microsoft Office with focus on Outlook and Excel
• The ability to process a high volume of transactions accurately in a fast-paced environment and effective time management skills
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through
• The ability to work individually or as part of a team to accomplish tasks
• Complete tasks efficiently, adhere to deadlines and communicate progress to other team members and management
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Experience with Oracle preferred but not required
