Since our inception ten years ago, Solairus Aviation’s Marketing Department has developed a comprehensive program that now supports a highly focused nationwide sales and communication effort. What started with one logo file and a rudimentary website has now become what is widely regarded as the most innovative, disruptive, and successful marketing department in the private aircraft management and private jet charter sales industries. To sustain and to further increase our abilities, we are seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our team, helping us maintain current campaigns and processes while simultaneously developing all-new programs that will ensure our continued growth.

Whether it is inbound, outbound, internal, channel, or relationship marketing, the Marketing Specialist will help use market and client research, publicity, copy writing, graphic design, web and email design, sales support, lead generation, and special event coordination to get the job done. The Marketing Specialist will be as comfortable working in Photoshop, as they will be with speaking to the World’s wealthiest individuals and Fortune 100 company executives. They will help write advertising copy one day while helping construct exhibits in convention halls the next. They will make savvy decisions in a highly competitive environment using their creative mind and their sound business acumen. They will take positive feedback and possible outright rejection extremely well, they will not let setbacks keep them from brainstorming and developing new ideas and they will embrace the opinions and theories of others as closely as they will embrace their own.

Needless to say, our Marketing Specialist will be exposed to nearly every conceivable marketing discipline imaginable and they will be highly influential in defining Solairus Aviation’s future success.

Marketing Specialist tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Assist with writing and editing of promotional literature, newsletters, direct marketing, social media, email and internet marketing projects.

• Help create new lead development and nurturing programs and monitor ongoing efforts.

• Assist with the development, writing, and communication of the Solairus marketing plan, reports, creative briefs, project recommendations, and presentations.

• Participate in offsite photo and video production and editing.

• Assist with special event sponsorships and exhibitions.

• Review various marketing collateral and make recommended design updates and edits.

• Help coordinate with other Solairus departments to enhance internet marketing, direct marketing, trade show development and attendance, and inbound marketing programs.

• Participate in periodic meetings to inform outside departments about Solairus’ marketing and communication activities and initiatives.

• Support the Charter Sales Team and Senior Management with special requests as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Communications preferred.

• Minimum 2 years marketing experience at a small to mid-size professional services organization.

• Experience with new media and Internet marketing channels.

• Detail-oriented with a technical and creative mindset.

• Extensive experience with the Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, HTML/CSS, CRMs, CMSs, social media, and email marketing.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• A hunger to learn and the ability to flourish in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

• Entrepreneurial, self-starter with a hands-on approach.

• Willing to travel 15-20% and work odd hours.

Pay range - $60,000 - $80,000
