Role Summary

In this role you will “own” content and be thoughtful about how we get our story out, whether through video, white papers, blogs or media, we’re looking for someone that can think strategically, while also getting the job done. Your job will be to partner with internal teams to create a cadence of communication and develop processes to gather and share our stories.

You’ll work with the VP of Marketing to develop our content and communications strategy to tell the Anuvu story both externally and internally. A large part of this role will be to enable our sales and account leaders to communicate information consistently and effectively throughout the organization.

The ideal candidate will have content creation and communications experience in satellite technologies including an understanding of satellite networks (LEO, GEO, MEO) and a background in connectivity or telecommunications.

Location: Anywhere in the US, but Denver, Colorado preferred

Remote Options: Option to be remote or hybrid

What You'll Be Doing 

We’re looking for a super star storyteller with exceptional writing skills, someone who is curious and digs deep to find the story, strong interpersonal, time management, organizational skills to join our growing team. You must be a self-starter, problem-solver and have the ability to work independently and as a team. We’re looking for rock stars who love a hustle, can work with minimal direction, and thrive on a little bit of chaos. You’ll manage the voice of Anuvu and play a role in educating our internal teams, while driving brand awareness and credibility among clients, partners, and industry at large – your small efforts will make a big difference – something you can be proud of!


  • Establish and maintain an editorial calendar, content roadmap and associated workflows for all Anuvu content and communications
  • Create high-impact content for usage across a range of channels that educate, engage, and inspire our customers, partners and employees
  • Work closely and communicate effectively with Anuvu sales and account management teams to develop Account Based Marketing communication strategies
  • Produce content for a variety of formats and channels including blog articles, whitepapers, email, press releases, case studies, video, webinars, and social media
  • Develop a deep understanding of the satellite connectivity and media & content industry as it applies to aviation, maritime and government; serve as subject matter expert
  • Create and maintain Messaging Guides for verticals, segments and products using StoryBrand methodology

Public Relations; Awards and Speaking Submissions

  • Manage existing Public Relations Agency and review ongoing performance to drive our earned media
  • Initiate, write, edit and circulate press releases among appropriate internal and external stakeholders
  • Pitch press releases to trade and industry media as necessary

Social, Blogs and Thought Leadership

  • Create stories that resonate with our customers through compelling imagery and copy
  • Partner with senior leaders to develop thought leadership stories and bylines that drive Anuvu brand, credibility, and business objectives
  • Expand reach of blogs and thought leadership through compelling multi-channel approach including video, graphics, social media, white papers, podcasts and more
  • Provide Anuvu POV for competitive positioning and industry news
  • Manage social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.), including posting, responding and reacting to owned and industry posts/news
  • Understand SEO best practices and apply knowledge to content strategy
  • Source and develop content sponsorships and/or partnerships that enhances brand awareness and/or conversion


  • Use email marketing campaigns to drive engagement and communicate our brand values
  • Write content for monthly customer emails (approximately four-six emails per month), aggregating company and industry news


  • Lead script, presentation, and webinar writing for senior leaders
  • Work with Product teams to identify industry trends, execute PR activities, and assist with the creation of copy for product positioning and messaging
  • Help develop and execute campaign plans to promote new product launches
  • Manage relationships with freelancers, contractors and/or third-party agencies

What We’re Looking For   

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in the sciences or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of content marketing experience
  • Miniumum 3 years experience in satellite, telecommunications, or connectivity for mobility markets required
  • Exceptional storytelling, editing, proofreading and verbal communication skills are essential. (3) writing samples required (no exceptions)
  • Agency or cross-functional team experience preferred
  • Experience with Account Based Marketing content strategies and best practices
  • Experience with StoryBrand is preferred or must be able to learn and adapt to methodology

  • Experience with creating copy for press releases, case studies, blogs, and other collateral
  • Creative and analytical thinker, with strong collaborative skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize issues/escalations, and manage many projects simultaneously
  • Ability to effectively communicate and deliver results in a virtual environment
  • Must be highly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy, environment.

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $95,000 - $105,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, certifications…etc.
