Role Summary

This person is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the servers, switches and other devices deployed in our aviation teleport network.  This includes procurement, support and licensing, configuration, and repair/replacement.  This person is also responsible for implementing PCI and SOX policies and maintaining compliance with them.

Location: Lombard, IL

Remote Options: Position is currently remote but will eventually be on Hybrid arrangement.

What You'll Be Doing  

  • Perform system administration for servers, switches, operating systems, firewalls, SANs and NASs, virtual server environments, backups, and some database (MySQL) admin.
  • Implement server and switch configurations to maintain PCI compliance.
  • Implement server and switch configurations to maintain SOX compliance.
  • Maintain and administer back-end systems such as Jira and Confluence
  • Maintain and administer two-factor authorization systems such as RSA
  • Assist in general network and firewall troubleshooting and administration

What We’re Looking For 

  • Five years experience system administration
  • Knowledge of Linux including security aspects (SELinux, iptables, etc.)
  • Experience with SOX and PCI compliance
  • Knowledge of information security best practices
  • Knowledge of network protocols a plus
