Role Summary  

As a Proposal Marketing Manager at Anuvu, you will leverage your creative thinking, strong communication acumen, collaborative skills, and eye for graphics to create proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral. This position is primarily responsible for RFP, RFI and bid proposal creation, as well as client Q&A and presentation support, storytelling, production of marketing collateral, support of “on-brand” communications, client/project database management, and event support.  Job functions include writing copy, graphic communication, managing and producing internal drafts, and ensuring delivery of the final product.  To be considered for this position, submit/upload a sample of your best writing and graphic work along with your resume and cover letter.  

Location: Denver, Colorado 

Remote Options: Once we are cleared to return to the office, this role will be on a hybrid work arrangement, 3 days a week in the office and 2 days at home.  

What You'll Be Doing 

We’re looking for a super star storyteller with strong interpersonal, time management, organizational, and exceptional writing skills to join our growing team. You must be a self-starter, problem-solver and have the ability to work independently and as a team. We’re looking for rock stars who love a hustle, can work with minimal direction, and thrive on a little bit of chaos. Part of your job will be initiating, recommending and implementing process improvement – your small efforts will make a big difference – something you can be proud of! 

  • RFP and RFI Responses and Presentations  
  • Ability to create compelling RFP responses and presentations that are tailored to each opportunity. 
  • Conduct client and prospect research, developing a solid research of their goals, brand, and needs in order to create a personalized response. 
  • Ensure compliance with the RFP requirements, prepare written responses, develop and maintain the required outline of the RFP and ensure timely submission. 
  • Create PowerPoint decks and RFP templates, and work with designer on proposal graphics, collateral, and other needs. 
  • Conduct quality assurance/quality control on proposals.  
  • Ensure proposal activities are executed in accordance with pertinent legal regulations and Company policies/procedures, and, where permissible, tailor processes and procedures as required by the size, scope, scale and timing of the opportunity.  
  • Project Management 
  • General overall proposal response management. 
  • Manage the entire process for major proposal efforts including leading the proposal team, tracking proposal submittals, scheduling and planning, developing winning themes, writing RFP responses, measuring success, developing creative packaging, monitoring status of pending RFP's and tracking deadline dates. 
  • Manage kick-off meetings and proposal reviews. 
  • Confirm availability of proposal resources needed from each contributor and her/his functional manager. 
  • Coordinate content from pricing and estimating departments along with other RFP contributors. 
  • Coordinate post-RFP meetings to determine results and contribute to win/loss reports. 
  • Information and Messaging Repository Management  
  • Maintain inventory of RFP responses, key company facts and graphics are updated on an ongoing basis.  
  • Work with product marketing to keep up to date with products and service offerings. 
  • Work with product marketing to provide writing templates to guide proposal contributors. Hold work-sessions with proposal contributors to discuss templates and messaging needs 
  • Maintain inventory of RFP responses, key company facts and graphics, ensuring they are updated on an ongoing basis. 

What We’re Looking For  

  • BA or BS or equivalent experience is required. 
  • 5+ years overall proposal development experience. 
  • Graphics design experience and storytelling expertise. 
  • Ability to interface with numerous business development disciplines and organizational levels. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment. 
  • High energy and strong, high-integrity work ethic. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to synthesize an action/corporate response in a clear, concise, focused manner. Bonus if you know/understand Donald Miller’s StoryBrand framework.  
  • In-depth technical knowledge (MS Word, Power Point, Excel, Adobe and other graphics design tools). 
  • Bonus if you understand or Microsoft Project Management tools 
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently and able to create and deliver finished and contractually compliant responses under general guidance. 
  • Ability to work off hours and weekends on occasion.

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $75,000 - $100,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, certifications…etc.
