Role Summary 

Within the Anuvu content technology team, we are focused on maintaining a highly flexible and scalable cloud native digital supply chain product through the integration of best in class SaaS software products and custom solutions in our cloud. We expect a team player with a positive outlook, solid networking foundation, practical problem solving, strong communication, and an action-oriented mindset.

What You’ll Be Doing   

  • Supporting the infrastructure and software for the Open Platform (our digital supply chain) and our operational processes from acquisition of the license through to delivery to clients which involves providing internet hosting of websites and services in AWS. 
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support servers, load balancers and storage. 
  • Operate in a functional support capacity for production applications as related to AWS cloud deployments 
  • Work with automated CM/deployment systems such as Ansible, AWS SSM, Puppet or Chef. 
  • Provision virtual machines as necessary, allocate resources, perform capacity planning, and monitor both network and systems usage. 
  • Deploy and maintain monitoring solutions such as cloudwatch and logstash. 
  • Participate in the engineering process for design, build and management of systems. 
  • Implement security systems and best practices to protect systems from external and internal compromise. 
  • Accurately documenting procedures, configurations, trouble descriptions and problem resolution.  
  • Work with and provide support to developers to implement solutions as needed, release code, and creatively solve problems. 
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation, respond to alerts in a timely fashion, escalate issues as needed. 
  • Identify and develop support tools needed by the Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams to keep our production platforms running smoothly. 

Expectations 

  • Solid networking fundamentals and ability to deliver on infrastructure tasks involving VLANs, DNS, Network Address Translation (NAT), and sub netting. 
  • Willing to work extended hours or weekends to meet project deadlines. 
  • Security mindset, positive attitude, and innovating thinking to work 
  • Strong communication skills both written and spoken 
  • Self-motivated to run initiatives with little supervision  
  • Ability to interact with multiple levels of management and various roles both within technology and other business units including operations and commercial 

What We’re Looking For 

  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Operating systems and related technologies such as IIS and Active Directory. 
  • 3+ years managing Linux systems. 
  • 3+ years working in a high transaction production environment.  
  • 3+ years experience deploying solutions in AWS. 
  • Proficient in one or more scripting languages: PHP, Perl, Bash, Powershell, or similar.
