Reporting to the VP, Program Management, the Program Manager has overall accountability for managing the full product lifecycle of complex technology programs from requirements gathering through development, integration, qualification, and certification of connectivity and wireless IFE systems. Organizes and leads a cross-functional, cross-organizational teams comprised of internal and external team members.
The programs managed by the Program Manager represent strategic imperatives that have significant impact on the business and have direct visibility to senior management. The Program Manager has the required skills to form high performing teams that will result in the timely and high-quality execution of the assigned programs. Partners with Product Teams, System Engineering, Software Development, QA, Procurement teams to develop and manage integrated delivery plans to support the development, integration, and launch of new system components for the Aviation business segment.
Success in this position includes, but is not limited to, ensuring that all identified requirements of the program are met, as well as delivered on time while meeting or exceeding financial objectives without compromising quality. In addition, as a member of a growing business, the Program Manager will play a significant role in defining and implementing delivery processes to support the rapidly changing technology and business needs of Anuvu and its customers.
Location: Anywhere in the United States but must be able to accommodate Central and Eastern time regions.
Remote Options: This role is completely remote.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Program Manager, you will need to have a detailed, technical understanding of your programs, hardware development / integration / certification practices, and manage the content of your program accordingly. You will need to have a comprehensive understanding of resources, people and money, and be able to clearly articulate needs and status to senior leadership team members. You need to be able to look at the timing of your program with granularity at the week, month and quarter level and understand what is driving your schedule. You will need to feel accountable for all aspects of your program, take full ownership and drive to deliver on time with quality.
