Role Summary

The Senior Solutions Architect develops winning technical solutions and strategies for satellite connectivity, terrestrial broadband, remote fiber and value added services.

Location: We are taking applications from candidates located in either Norway or Spain

Remote Options: This role will be completely remote

What You’ll Be Doing  

  • Understand and interpret customer requirements, creating a solution using existing company technologies to meet the customer requirements.
  • Proactive liaison with sales team, operations, products, and systems engineering to provide timely and accurate responses to engineering requirements in the quotation process.
  • Communicates with various levels of expert personnel at customer’s location to gather technical facts to support the quotation and contracting process.
  • Creates network drawings, Statement of Works, equipment lists (quotes) and gathering of technical specs required to present a complete customer solution.
  • Meets deadlines for assigned projects, configuration and documentation for proposals.
  • Calculating client quotations
  • Supporting marketing by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events as needed.
  • Preparing technical presentations – internal and external - and demonstrating how a product will meet client needs.
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
  • Assists the Sales department with the creation of rate tables and pricing.
  • Maintains documentation to provide accurate record keeping.
  • Escalate customer requirements to Product development team to highlight customer requirements not currently meet by existing solutions.

What We’re Looking For 

  • Technical school graduate or Associates degree in related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in technical support and sales engineering roles. 
    Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP and general network theory.
  • Strong understanding of Cisco equipment, satellite antenna systems and VOIP technologies. 
  • Knowledge of RF engineering principles and satellite technology.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver results. 
  • Strong written and oral communication skills desired.
