Role Summary

We are looking for a temporary Accounts Payable Clerk to start immediately. The Accounts Payable team needs help reviewing and responding to emails and following up on invoices. This role is extremely flexible. You do not have to be in accounting or have an accounting degree (although this is a good opportunity to gain exposure if you are in that feild). You can pick how many hours you work. This is a 3-month assignment, but there is an opportunity for it be extended.

Location: Denver, CO

Remote Options: This role can be remote or hybrid

What You'll Be Doing 

  • Post supplier invoices and match to purchase orders
  • Obtain approval for invoices prior to payment
  • Prepare weekly electronic payment runs
  • Resolve queries with suppliers
  • Reach out to internal employees and external vendors to ensure documents are completed
  • Review, prioritize and allocate emails received in the AP team shared mailbox
  • Handle administrative and accounting oriented duties and responsibilities as needed

What We’re Looking For   

  • No work experience necessary
  • Able to communicate with all levels throughout the company
  • Organizational skills
  • Can work with minimal supervision
  • Working knowledge of MS office products (proficient in Excel is a plus)
  • Oracle experience a distinct advantage

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $13-$18/hour. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, certifications…etc.
