Role Summary

The Commercial Finance Analyst will be a key business partner reporting to the Director Business Finance, FP&A. The primary responsibility is to provide commercial analysis of deal economics, decision support, and to best position Anuvu’s product offering. This person will serve as a business partner to Sales, Account Management, Supply Chain, Legal, Accounting and Business Unit leaders during and RFP/bid process.The successful candidate will be experienced and self-motivated, with excellent organizational and project management skills, along with the ability to set and meet strict timelines. A strong work ethic and ability to work proactively/independently are also essential. The candidate should possess very strong modelling skills, strong excel and a desire to be successful.

Location: Denver, CO

Remote Options: Once we are cleared to return to the office, this role will be on a hybrid work arrangement, 3 days a week in the office and 2 days at home. 

What You'll Be Doing

  • Create business cases and pricing models for RFPs and other upsell/cross sell opportunities. These will cover all GE’s Connectivity products and services for both new and existing clients
  • Evaluate opportunities to improve client performance, including the preparation and analysis of financial models to evaluate new business opportunities
  • Monitor ongoing business performance and prepare analysis which communicates, business results and operating issues and opportunities
  • Assist with preparation of key pitches including monthly operational reviews, quarterly financial results, estimates and planning
  • Maintain deal status and deal pipeline to support focused sales actions and backlog management
  • Perform ad-hoc financial support for pricing and offers outside of standard product structure
  • Partner with Account Management and regional VPs to perform analysis supporting revenue and margin expansion
  • Drive process improvement through implementations of new processes, tools, and sharing of best practices
  • Partner with Legal to ensure all deal terms are defined in line with GE standards. Also, to track deals through the contracting process.

What We’re Looking For 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting OR equivalent work experience required.
  • 5+ years of finance experience, with an emphasis in an environment with complex org structure.
  • Proven track record of delivering on commitments, developing impactful analytical tools
  • Exceptional analytical skills coupled with a solid understanding of business dynamics
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively collaborate with and influence others at all organizational levels
  • High level of organizational astuteness, professionalism, executive presence, and poise
  • Strong communications skills and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and with senior management are a must.
  • Full understanding of accounting principles and all financial statement interactions along with the understanding of the business drivers and how they drive results

The anticipated starting salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $75,000 - $95,000. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as location, experience, skills, certifications…etc.
