Role Summary

The Sr. Accounting Analyst will contribute to the MEG Accounting team that is in charge of EMC legacy entities bookkeeping and monthly generation of Financial Statements to be consolidated at GEE Corporate level. Position works very closely with the Accounting Manager and Accounting Director.

What You Will Be Doing

• Perform accounts analysis and prepare journal entries for the monthly close
• Prepare/Control Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliations
• Analysis and explanation of variations in balance sheet and profit and loss accounts
• Work in coordination with other areas such as Logistics/AP/Treasury/AR to ensure properly booking of related transactions
• Help training/supervising more junior members of the team
• Support more experienced members of the team
• Interact with auditors and tax advisors for entities in US and other countries around the world
• Assistance to headquarters requirements in US and other departments such as planning, tax, legal

Education & Experience

• Public accountant (graduated)
• Big four or medium sized accounting firm (BPO department)
• Experience in accounting senior positions, at least 3 years

Skills/Interests

• English: advanced (oral & writing)
• Excel: advanced level.
• Oracle experience is preferable
