Role Summary

This position will report to Manager, Maritime Sales Operations, and will have the primary responsibilities of providing administration, coordination and support for sales, sales processes, contract process management, executive reporting and services implementation.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Ensures the integrity of order entries and matching Salesforce.com opportunity data, actual contract and/or purchase.
  • Independently assembles data and prepares complex reports, proposals, quotations, contracts and related documentation for Sales & Business Unit Department head for Executive Reporting & Meetings.
  • Helps draft proposals and confers to develop documentation related to existing and future contracts, including preparation of RFI/RFP responses.  
  • Resolves customer contractual and account services issues with independent action, coordinating between operations, solutions architects, sales, and accounting in order to provide an excellent standard of service to internal and external customers.
  • Assists Sales Executives with Salesforce/Database/CRM validating updates and entries.
  • Works with Legal department regarding customer contractual agreements and addenda.
  • Assists MTN TV team with change orders for customers.
  • Conducts special research projects as may be assigned.
  • Continues growth and development through training seminars and workshops
  • Other related responsibilities/duties as may be assigned

Education & Experience

  • Previous Maritime Sales Operations experience. 
  • Previous experience in Salesforce.

Skills

  • PC software application skills must include Word at an advanced level for contract editing and version management, proposals and formatting of complex documents with the insertion of images, tables, and graph and chart creation, along with PowerPoint for presentation preparation and Excel. 
  • Must demonstrate excellent organizational, written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills with high attention to detail. 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Must have strong commitment to company values and the ability to work in a team.

Expectations

  • Limited domestic and international travel may be required. Works in an office environment and collaborates with Maritime Sales Operations team.
  • Works independently; participates in management meetings providing direction for sales services coordination; serves as a liaison between sales department and staff and company departments, representing Maritime Sales Operations and customer issues; and interacts with customers.
