Role Summary

The Scheduling Manager will join a fast-paced and dynamic team responsible for managing all aspects of a client’s media cycle. This includes responsibility of the timeline, from content selection through to final on-time and quality delivery. The precise mix and balance of tasks and responsibilities will vary depending on the needs of the client. The Scheduling Manager will also manage a team of Content Schedulers, using our proprietary platform to schedule, process, and delivery media assets and supplemental metadata in a timely fashion. The Scheduling Manager will also be responsible for communicating with all the stakeholders involved, to ensure customer satisfaction is exceeded by ensuring our work is to the highest possible standard.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable for assigned customers media and metadata delivery
  • Support with client meetings as required
  • Ensure 100% on-time and quality delivery of media and metadata
  • Support with KPI gathering, post-cycle analysis and continuous improvement performance management
  • Provide input into issue resolution and problem solving / prevention
  • Attending and contributing to internal operational meetings as and when required
  • Assist with onboarding and entries into service for new hardware and systems
  • Actioning of client change requests
  • Line management and mentorship of Content Schedulers and oversight of their specific tasks
  • Recruit, train, coach and develop team members
  • Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring and performance management
  • Work closely with the Regional Operations Director to set or implement policies, procedures, and to follow through with implementation
  • Communicate all operating policies and/or issues at department meetings

 

Qualifications/Experience

  • High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred
  • People Management experience strongly preferred
  • Project Manager experience preferred
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing projects that are strategic in nature and global in scope
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Motivated, goal-oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator
  • Ability to deliver to strict deadlines; capable of working successfully under pressure
  • 5 years in a media or technology environment
  • Inflight industry experience preferred
