Position: Preauthorization Specialist

Department: Gastroenterology

Location: Provo

Description: 

This position is responsible to contact the insurance carriers to determine the most efficient way to verify eligibility, pre-authorization requirements, covered services and determine the patient’s financial responsibilities. This information is documented online and coordinated with Revere Health staff, referring physician and/or patient.

Qualifications: 

• Must have excellent customer service skills and be able to communicate professionally both in written and verbal form.
• 1-2 years experience in medical office setting, working with health insurance companies preferred.
• Must have excellent attention to detail, be a self-starter, dependable, and hardworking.
• Strong computer skills.

Hours:

•  Monday-Friday 9-5
