Position: Echo Tech
Description: As a growing Cardiology Department with its respective Providers within Utah Valley and surrounding areas, we are seeking to hire an Echo Tech to help us keep growing. If you're dedicated, energetic and ambitious, Revere Health Cardiology will be a great place for you to make a difference in the lives of others. This position performs a wide variety of duties and responsibility in a manner that places emphasis on quality of patient care and customer service. One must work collaboratively with all Clinical service staff in support of direct patient services, exhibiting flexibility and a “can-do” attitude. Patient services are the key priority in this position requiring the Echo Tech to serve as a point of contact with the goal of fostering an environment which promotes patient comfort and trust. Must be able to properly demonstrate cardio echo skills with high-quality echo studies of the heart and all of its chamber and valves. Produces two-dimensional ultrasonic recordings and Doppler flow analyses of heart and related structures, using ultrasound equipment, for use by physician in diagnosis of heart disease and study of heart. Calculates, measures and documents appropriate values on the tests preformed for review and interpretation by physicians. Explains procedures to patient to obtain cooperation and reduce anxieties of patient. Reviews test results with interpreting physician. Communicates with physicians, managers and co-workers as appropriate about changes in patient's clinic conditions while undergoing echocardiogram. Performs other duties as assigned.
Hours: Hours: This position is for 30-40 hours per week. Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm
