Department Physical Therapy

Location Provo



  • 2+ years of experience as a Receptionist in a physical therapy or medical office setting is preferred or in a similar client facing role.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, professional/great phone etiquette, and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent documentation, communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, complete tasks efficiently and work as a team player.
  • Past experience completing pre-authorizations in a medical office setting (advantageous).

Description This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced physical therapy office that seeks to provide quality healthcare and therapy services for a large volume of patients. The following is a list of the primary job responsibilities expected in the position:

  • Greet clients with a smile when arriving, collect co-pays/patient balances, and direct patients to the physical therapist.
  • Complete pre-authorizations for patients prior to their scheduled therapy visit.
  • Organize patient charts for each therapists' clinic for the upcoming day including the number of visits.
  • Call out to all physical therapy referrals (same day) and schedule the patient with the therapist they're being referred to.
  • Answer phone calls/return messages in a timely manner and address patients' questions and concerns.
  • Respond daily to all email correspondence within the organization and from the department manager.
  • Complete all other given tasks as assigned by the department manager.

Hours:  Schedule: Mon - Fri, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM The schedule may vary depending upon staffing needs. (Approx 40 hrs./wk)
