MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / COMPETENCIES
The Director of Product Marketing for STAAR Surgical Americas serves as the EVO ICL product leader and customer advocate within the Americas business, responsible for product innovation (inclusive of ICL and accessories), product marketing and management (encompassing launch, pricing, positioning, data/claims, messaging, promotion/education, lifecycle management). They own the MD/OD EVO journey, and their intersection with Patient/Practice journey, and develop and lead programming to drive clinical confidence across the clinical HCP audience.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Product marketing strategy for STAAR Surgical’s clinical portfolio, leading how clinical products are launched, positioned, sold and managed throughout their lifecycle, including forecasting, inventory planning, and consignment strategy.
•    Clinical data ownership, leading on claims development and evidence generation, including Claims matrix and Key-opinion-leader engagement strategy.
•    Clinical product innovation, working with Global Strategic Marketing to define features and benefits for existing products, and identify opportunities and develop business cases for new products, indications, improvements and partnerships.  
•    Creation of Promotional and Marketing Assets, creating compelling marketing collateral, including product messaging, sales tools, and presentations.
•    Market research and analysis: Harness stakeholder insights from market research, customer insights, and competitive analysis to pinpoint market trends, customer needs, product positioning, and messaging.
•    Caretaker of MD/OD journey, understanding the clinical drivers and barriers across the continuum from awareness to advocacy.
•    Customer Segmentation, segmenting customers by geography, purchase, attitudinal/psychographics, and tailoring sales tactics and tools, as well as programs and collateral to meet segment needs.
•    Results reporting/dashboard ownership: Analyze product performance metrics and customer feedback to optimize marketing strategies, guide work of cross-functional partners, and deliver regular updates and strategic recommendations to the leadership team.
•    Financial management: Manage marketing budgets and track ROI of marketing initiatives.
•    Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION & TRAINING
•    Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field; MBA preferred.

EXPERIENCE
•    10+ years of experience in product marketing in the MedTech industry. 
•    7+ years of leadership experience, leading teams effectively.
•    Ophthalmology industry experience preferred.

SKILLS
•    Proven experience in marketing management, with a focus on clinical product strategy, clinical data management and clinical product innovation.
•    Strong understanding of MedTech market dynamics and customer needs. 
•    Proven track record of developing and executing successful product marketing strategies.
•    Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
•    Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive decision-making.
•    Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders,
•    Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously,
•    Strong leadership qualities and a proactive, self-motivated mindset. 
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging content and present ideas effectively.
•    Ability to work under a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
•    Language skills in Portuguese, Spanish and French a plus.

Pay range: $180-$240k -  Final compensation/salary will be depend on experience
