MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / COMPETENCIES
1.    Scan Calibration instrument records, update CMMS service with the appropriate calibration reports, review for, date accuracy, interval and GDP requirements per GMP
2.    Maintain Calibration Files and preform annual clearing/readiness for Iron Mt archiving.   
3.    Assist with purchase requisitions and record keeping.
4.    Review all calibration labels are accurate after completion of onsite Vendor scheduled visits- Review date and interval are correct and meet GDP/GMP standard.
5.    Update CMMS for calibration activities daily or as they are completed.
6.    Assist in the creation of services as Work requests are created. 
7.    Ensure that calibration documents are constantly and properly updated.
8.    Assist in Internal and External Audits and record preparation and Retrieval. Ensure up to date records of activities are available for future referencing. 
9.    Assist with coordinating external vendors when onsite for calibrations.
10.    Assist in the pulling of equipment and prepping for shipment and or pickup. Ensure all required documents are included with shipments per SOP and or the Vendor requirements. 
11.    Assist in receiving equipment from Vendors after calibration and return production upon documents review and CMMS updates. 
12.    Support and maintain the scheduling database for the successful operation of the calibration Support and travel to other STAAR facilities as needed. .

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION & TRAINING
•    High School diploma required.

EXPERIENCE
•    Minimum one-year experience in the medical device industry.
•    General knowledge of manufacturing processes.
•    Knowledge of CMMS software a plus
•    Knowledge of GMP and GDP practices a plus

SKILLS
•    Demonstrated expert knowledge of Windows-based software, including Word, Excel, Project, and Power Point.  
•    Must work as a team player, be self-directed, and work effectively with personnel at all levels within the organization in a rapidly changing environment.

Pay range is $20-$25 per hour - Final compensation will depend on experience.
