What You’ll Be Helping Achieve

RPA is seeking a Content Author to join our team. You’ll be collaborating every day with a multi-disciplinary team that is responsible for keeping the Honda Automobiles website accurate and attuned to Honda’s business needs. You’ll be thinking about the best way to promote and prioritize messages across the site – and getting the corresponding content up quickly and accurately. The Content Author responsibilities will include assisting in the coordination of asset development, Content Management System (CMS) setup and organization, and authoring website copy and images, as well as basic quality assurance for content and asset production. The candidate in this role can take on support tasks as needed across various disciplines (e.g., User Experience, Technology, Strategy, Creative, Account Planning) in order to ensure the on-time, on-budget delivery of projects. The candidate will oversee day-to-day internal and external communications regarding project status. Must have a solid understanding of the creative design and development process, technology and website production. Position requires proven ability to prioritize, multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fun, fast-paced environment. Requires knowledge of production tools and methodologies.

This is an entry level position and does not require a college degree.

How You’ll Excel In Your Role

  • Be extremely detail-oriented and a proactive problem solver
  • Have an eye for detail and passion for the advertising industry
  • Experience with a Content Management System (CMS) and Sitecore experience is a plus
  • Be able to use the JIRA software tool for issue and bug-tracking
  • Sketch or Photoshop skills are a plus
  • Be comfortable working in front of a computer for long periods, and flexible in working long hours during heavy production cycles
  • Be able to multi-task and deal with hard deadlines
  • Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a variety of people, including creative, technical, management, and marketing and traditional advertising groups, required Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas/issues Have good organizational and time-management skills
