RMC is hiring an Accounting Assistant to work on site at the Lexington Park Office

  • Performing day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying and inputting accounts payable data
  • Tracking and recording purchase orders and electronic payments to meet weekly deadlines
  • Process training and government travel reimbursements
  • Ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures
  • Assist with procurement, fixed asset purchases and inventory
  • Effectively communicate with vendors, consultants and fellow employees

 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business related field or demonstrated work experience in government contract accounting OR a minimum of 5 years corporate office experience
  • Understanding and application of GAAP

Preferred Skills

  • Government contracting experience
  • Work well under pressure, organization skills, accuracy and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service
