Ryan Homes is searching for a “tech-savvy”, “out-of-the-box” thinker to join our professional team of cost control managers and administrators. This role provides direct support to the Lead Administrator and the Regional costing team.  The UCS Administrator will interact with and support external trade partners to ensure efficiencies. The ideal candidate will exhibit excellent teamwork skills acting as a liaison between internal Regional teams including operation and marketing teams.


  • Proficiency in collecting, organizing and reviewing data through multiple software systems including EXCEL / WORD / PowerPoint and other proprietary internal systems
  • Must be willing to work within a team atmosphere - strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills; the position is full time in the Richmond Regional office
  • Self-starter with strong problem analysis, judgment and decision making attributes with the ability to work independently while still contributing to the team through collaboration
  • Administrative experience in a manufacturing or construction environment will be a plus in this role.
  • Great opportunity for a recent college graduate to learn and grow your career; college degree highly valuable for this role, but not required.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Utilize Ryan Homes’ internal costing systems to support our homebuilding operations throughout Virginia
  • Cost estimation and analysis
  • Revenue enhancement
  • Cost reduction
  • Trade partner support and documentation including regulatory compliance
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives
  • Complete special assignments as assigned by administrative lead and costing teams
