RESPONSIBILITIES:

Include:

  • Actively manage and own business opportunities, leading the development of Customer Proposal and corresponding costing and pricing.
  • Assess customer requirements from discussions with customers, sales and service delivery, produce end to end costs for operational resources, and third-party quotes
  • Perform a Solution Lead function (design authority) for designing and developing high quality business solutions through the evaluation of customer's business needs
  • Develop end to end cost models underpinning simplex customer solutions, ensuring all cost elements of the opportunity are captured across all third parties and functional groups.
  • Conduct a comparative analysis and assessment of the cost model by taking into account similar opportunities, feedback and opportunity win rate.
  • Review all assumptions to ensure alignment to scope, take ownership of resolving discrepancies
  • Ensure cohesion across delivery towers and 3rd parties for completeness of modelling (people, processes and tools); ensure that all obligations/requirements are costed
  • Provide analysis to ensure costs neither overlap, nor create gaps
  • Ensure costs are reasonable and benchmarked
  • Ensure traceability to obligations/requirements, and to 3rd party quotes

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Relevant Degree with a 2 years practical experience in a relational work environment. Roles at this level must be capable of dealing with a range of moderately complex issues often requiring them to participate in designing or developing solutions or resolving issues that will be implemented by Operational employees.
  • Ability to create compelling propositions through external/internal market insights and in-depth customer knowledge
  • Strong understanding of how to mobilise lines of business to deliver desired outcomes
  • Exceptional communication skills with outstanding written and verbal skills
  • Strong Technical knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
    1. Data & IP
    2. Cloud Services and Security
    3. Mobility
    4. Unified Communications, Fixed Telephony
    5. Audio Visual
    6. Contact Centre
