The Pipeline Manager helps existing N3 teams to manage opportunities throughout the sales pipeline from opportunity qualification through close. Additionally, the Pipeline Manager works with internal managers as well as with the external customer and their partners on managing the sales funnel and reporting on opportunities in CRM. Customer engagements are managed in an inside sales model, with a combination of outbound and account management tactics. In addition to building strong transactional and strategic customer relationships, a successful PLM manages relationships with technology providers, direct and channel sales partners, and solutions/sales engineers.  

N3 empowers our CSM roles to be trusted advisors to customers, working cross-functionally across customer departments (i.e. Marketing, Finance, IT, Back Office, etc.). The best CSMs maximize platform adoption for clients by implementing use cases in multiple departments, broadening the user base while deepening the application stack. 

N3 provides product, process, systems, and sales training to develop the skills of our CSMs for current and future roles. This includes product and platform specific training including, but not limited to, hands-on training, vendor certifications, partner certifications, and sales tool training. 


Recommended Experiences and Knowledge  

  • Bachelor’s Degree 

  • Experience in Inside Sales, Business Development, Customer Support, Customer Success, Customer Service, and/or Information Technology 

  • Express desire to develop a career in technology sales 

  • Account Management experience is required, as the Pipeline Manager will be in charge of tracking all opportunities the team generates in addition to the progress of potential opportunities and their stage in the sales cycle. 

  • Must be able to update CRM with opportunity pricing and all account information based on opportunity generation process  

  • Must work to support ongoing requests from the sales team to finalize any order entry into CRM 

  • Must be able to generate data and reporting analysis for reports, as well as support the sales staff in management reports on pipeline and forecasts (weekly, monthly, quarterly) 

  • Must be able to deliver and close the loop on any account information and payment mechanism to the Sales Management team to facilitate final transaction and entitlement of services/software for the client. 

  • Must be proficient in working in spreadsheets for reporting purposes to track and match data. 

  • The Pipeline Manager will be working directly with both the N3 Program Manager, Sales Managers, and the client to track and manage the entire lifecycle of the sales process for many large clients with multiple contracts 

  • Experience working with large accounts and large numbers of orders within a given account is required  

  • Achievement and success-driven personality, motivated by performance rewards for exceeding annual sales goals through strategic sales leadership and strong cross business collaboration  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  


Technical Experience  

  • Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)  

  • Experience with CRM Software (Dynamics, Salesforce, etc) preferred.
