Role Description:

 

Responsible for managing a portfolio of approximately 50 partners per partner advisor.

Objective includes accelerating revenue and profitability of strategic or “managed” partners that have achieved Partner or Premier status by achieving a higher level of certification and specialization with Google Cloud

Provide end-to-end consultative guidance to grow partners within the tier, or to the next tier, and where possible, to grow partners to be strategic for Google Cloud. This will include driving revenue and productivity focused activation motions designed to proactively engage and enable partners with activities such as:

  • Creation of joint business plans
  • Increasing partners’ scope of influence in the market by identifying and leveraging competitive differentiators
  • Maximizing partner profitability by leveraging all available incentives and by prioritizing the right opportunities
  • Helping partners build specialization and vertical focus through 1:1 and 1:few guidances.
  • Driving coordination with regional Google sales teams on in-flight customer deals.

 

High Touch Partner Program Advisors will be available via email, phone, video chat and on-air events. Partner Program Advisory team (High Touch) will provide the Services and Deliverables for partners of the following Google Cloud teams: Go-to-Market team (GTM Partners), GSuite team, GCP team. 

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent Portuguese, English and Spanish communication skills
  • Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Experience in IT sales, partner management, and/or technical background Self-starter, who has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity.
  • Proven customer relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in using Salesforce or other CRM solution.
  • Ability to manage multiple and deliver on multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Having as many of these specific qualifications is a plus, but transferable skills/experiences may be equally valuable.
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
  • Understand the cloud market - maintain strong knowledge of market needs, competition and latest industry news and trends.
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed targets.
  • 3- 5 years of experience working in a customer/partner-facing role encompassing operations, deployment, and activation of the market ecosystem.
