POSITION SUMMARY:

The Parts and Accessory Product Manager will play a crucial role in evaluating business opportunities and defining portfolios in parts and accessories for major appliances and consumer electronic goods. This position involves close collaboration with product development teams to introduce products to targeted markets and oversee all stages of a product’s life cycle. The successful candidate will develop business plans, establish pricing strategies, and coordinate communication with key stakeholders across various departments including sales, marketing, R&D, quality, and supply chain management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and develop pricing strategies.
  • Manage all supplier-related activities and coordinate with R&D and factories to launch new parts and accessories.
  • Introduce new parts and accessories to the US market (New Product Introduction - NPI).
  • Forecast demand for parts and accessories throughout their life cycle in the market.
  • Support in planning promotional marketing activities.
  • Manage pricing, including MSRP, RRP, and invoice price.
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field of study.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in category management, product management, operations, and supply chain management.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with various stakeholders.
  • Excellent data analysis skills with knowledge of statistics and quantitative data interpretation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a positive attitude.
  • Interpersonal skills for navigating sensitive issues, ambiguous situations, and changes in direction.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications, particularly advanced Excel skills and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with data visualization software such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Locker Studio is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence, is preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Korean is preferred.
