The Opportunity:  Location will be in Kingston, GA

The Site Safety Coordinator (Bilingual in Korean and English ) is responsible for improving the safety culture in the assigned areas by identifying and addressing the concerns. The Site Safety Coordinator will also objectively investigate, communicate findings to management, and be working at the LG chiller installation site on the EV Battery plant scheduled to be completed in 2025. This is a contract position, paid by the hour and including overtime pay, job location will be in Kingston, GA for this project.

What You’ll Do:

• Drives a safety-first culture.
• Conducts random Job Safety Observations, as well as perform JSA audits and any other applicable safety processes and programs.
• Reinforces and provides assistance to the area managers in the inclusion of safety topics for their scheduled meetings with their supervisors.
• Site safety management.
• Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting.
• Assist in the preparation and management of a site-specific safety programs.
• Follow up and assist in accident investigations and assure reports are submitted in the timeline required.
• Required to support safety training as needed through department/ job sites.
• Maintains baseline familiarity with OSHA and DOT regulations as applicable.

Required Skills

• Bilingual in English/Korean is required.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 to 5 year of safety experience. Construction experience preferred.
• Must have or be willing to be OSHA certified.

Hourly Rate:   $36.00 - $48.00
