Centauri is seeking a senior Program Protection Engineer to join our Chantilly, VA team with expertise in the development, planning, execution, and oversight of security related to SCI, SAP, CAP, special handling/Special Technical Operations (STO), and Focal Point (FP) caveats. The successful candidate will provide total Acquisition Life Cycle System Security Engineering/Program Protection to an Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) group and serve as the Program Protection interface with OSD and the Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities:

Manage, plan, and execute Program Protection for portfolio of advance technology development, testing, prototyping, and strategic development initiatives.
Manage and utilize system security engineering and program protection to develop security programs supporting a wide variety of technologies, acquisitions, programs, operations, and system applications.
Interface between Industry partners and government offices for implementation of program protection strategies
Execute and coordinate Information Technology (IT) policy, Certification, and Accreditation of systems.
CONUS and OCONUS travel are required

Minimum Education and Experience required:

BS or MS degree required (in any field)
20+ years’ experience in Program Security field, with emphasis on Program Protection Engineering, Perception Management, and Mission Protection
Demonstrated experience in development, implementation, and validation of security and program protection policy, plans, and programs.

Security Clearance:

Must be a US Citizen; must possess TS/SCI clearance
