Program Manager, ICEE Installations

Centauri is seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to serve as the Program Manager for the Integrated Civil Engineer Environment (ICEE) installations.  The AFCEC Det 1 located at Tyndall AFB (TAFB), Florida, supports installations worldwide in ensuring each base can operate as a weapon system. Centauri supports this organization by deploying an integrated system (ICEE) that enables a base to understand its operational capability. The Program Manager, ICEE Installations would be responsible for all ICEE installs at various bases.

The successful candidate should be an expert leader and problem solver with a proven ability to build and shape high performing teams in a high-profile, fast-paced environment. The candidate must have a fundamental understanding of AFCEC, preferably in Det 1, TAFB.  The candidate will manage both customer relationship and on-site deployments at TAFB and other AF installations.


PM Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists the ICEE Portfolio Manager and the greater ICEE management team in executing all aspects of the program.
  • Interacts with the customer(s) to ensure requirements are understood and solutions exceed requirements.
  • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and retaining highly qualified employees to support the Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements through the life of the program.
  • Helps create the strategy for continued phases of the program.
  • Serves as program advisory lead for extremely time critical technical projects, test projects, or tasks requiring appropriate level technical expertise.
  • Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders to verify program needs and identified to meet project goals.
  • Helps the government assess the technical sufficiency, cost, quality, and timely delivery of program deliverables.
  • Confers with engineers to provide technical advice and to assist with problem resolution as needed.
  • Supports management and execution of programs consisting of multiple projects.  Ensures overall program is properly coordinated and efficiently accomplished with the best available resources.
  • Aids in the development of a Monthly Status Report on all support efforts including updates in status and performance, major activities, challenges and opportunities, deliverables, and subcontractor performance.
  • Drafts, reviews, and edits final program reports, documents, and briefings.



  • Bachelor’s degree minimum, advanced technical degree is highly desired.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in program management, customer relationship management, and business development experience.
  • Extensive experience in AFCEC programs and understanding AFCEC.  AFCEC TAFB experience is highly desired.
  • Solid understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) Acquisition and Development processes.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Highly effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Travel up to 50% could be required in future years.
  • Must be a US citizen and will be submitted for a background check to obtain access to customer sites
