As a Fixed Asset Accountant, you are responsible for all fixed asset accounting. Critical for success is the ability to ensure timely and accurate recordings of financial transactions and reporting related to capital assets.

What it takes:

  • Associate’s Degree in Accounting or related field, or 3+ years of accounting experience
  • Fixed asset software experience (such as BNA)
  • Administer and maintain the fixed asset system to include proper capitalization, depreciation, transfer, and disposal of assets and related reconciliations.
  • Perform accounting for leases in accordance with ASC 842 and maintain lease database. Work closely with cross-functional teams as part of the operational and technical implementation of new agreements or transactions.
  • Provide reports and supporting documentation for audit requests (including annual external audit, insurance related audits, state audits, etc).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
