OBJECTIVE AND MAIN TASK OF THE FUNCTION

The primary objective of the Customer Data Steward is to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of customer-related data within the organization. This role supports the sales and customer service teams by managing and maintaining customer accounts, ensuring compliance with legal and audit requirements, and providing data stewardship to enhance operational efficiency. The Customer Data Steward will also serve as a key resource in system management and process optimization, contributing to the overall success of the customer service function.

 

TASKS

 

·       Create and update customer accounts and price lists ensuring accuracy and consistency according to established checklists.

·       Manage the creation and updating of surgeon profiles in OCOS or Stella and allocate training to surgeons via the BMC platform.

·       Register doctors in the "Find a doctor" website.

·       Review, manage, and archive contracts, ensuring proper follow-up and compliance with organizational procedures.

·       Review, manage, and archive Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) documents, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

·       Prepare for and support audits, ensuring all relevant documentation and processes meet audit standards.

·       Maintain and organize shared folders for sales, internal partners, and customers to ensure easy access and proper documentation.

·       Set up consignments upon request of Sales.

·       Assist in the clean-up and organization of Customer Service drive upon needs.

·       Weekly and monthly reporting: assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly reporting for Customer Service, STAAR Management and Sales.

·       Collaborate with finance, logistics, regulatory and sales teams as needed to build relationships, resolve data issues and streamline and improve processes to be able to enhance overall process efficiency.

·       Provide on-demand backup support for Customer Service Representatives (CSR), including training on relevant processes.

 

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

 

     Education:                                      Commercial/Administration Diploma or equal

 

Special Knowledge:                       Very good English, German and/or French skills are an advantage

 

Personality:                                    Open minded, flexible, communicative, stress resistant, and customer service oriented

 

     Professional Experience:              Several years’ experience in a similar position
